Liz's Story
When I play on the slide, I wait for my friend to go first. Then, it will be my turn to slide down.
Playing a board game is fun! I wait for my turn to roll the dice. I listen to who goes next.
In group time, I wait for my turn to talk. I raise my hand and listen while others speak.
Sometimes, waiting is hard. When I feel this way, I can take deep breaths to help me stay calm.
I can count to ten slowly. This helps time pass until it is my turn again.
If waiting feels very hard, I can ask for help from a grown-up. They can help me feel better.
Taking turns is important. It helps everyone have fun and feel happy.
My friends and I take turns every day. We share and play together nicely.
I am proud of myself for learning how to take turns. It makes playing with friends even more fun!
